Sakshi Singh & Ors.” , vide this the Hon’ble Court has noted the following:
“The GNCTD may consider that for all the exercise of greening the Central Ridge –
especially the Insaaf Bagh (in about 456 acres, as informed by the DCF) and in
the Maafi Bagh in the Southern Ridge spanning over hundreds of acres, developed
under various directions, of this court spanning almost half a decade. Justice
is the glue that binds a society together. Preservation of the environment and
protection of trees and ecology is the duty of each individual. The creation of
Insaaf Bagh (Justice Park) is a constant reminder of the need for justice in all
our affairs. The larger benefit to the environment and ecology, from Insaaf Bagh
and Maafi Bagh should be shared with the public so as to encourage greater
community participation in future remedial endeavours, where the citizen feel
that they are the rightful stakeholders in protecting the environment and
conserving their green areas.”
Further on 13.07.2023 the HMJ Najmi Waziri seeing the enthusiasm in the community with
